A Gradual Facelift

Our faces change gradually over time, so many of us do not like the idea of changing our faces abruptly with surgery. The Physicians and Aesthetic Nurse Specialists at Disappearing Act love the concept of a gradual facelift. We believe it is brilliant to gradually make our skin and faces healthy over time, artistically and naturally. As time goes on, we slowly lose facial bone for support and we lose facial fat that used to fill and lift our faces. In addition, we often get fat where we don’t want it, on our jowls and under our chins. In the meantime, our skin’s cells become less elastic as our facial muscles seem more dynamic as they etch in our expressions. All of these changes happen slowly, so we like to address these changes as time goes on as well. A gradual, non-surgical facelift concept is the key. As the months go by, people will notice subtle changes, but they likely won't be able to put a finger on what has changed. Gradually we tap the brakes on the changes that happen, we don’t slam on the breaks. The experts here at Disappearing Act welcome you to our office for a free consultation on your gradual journey toward healthy changes.

A youthful look depends on having the right amount of facial fat in the right places. Redistribution, accumulation, and atrophy of fat lead to facial volume loss.

Some areas lose fat, such as the forehead and cheeks. Other areas gain fat, such as the mouth and jaw. Modification of the fat pads leads to contour deficiencies. In addition, the areas of fat tend to become farther apart. Instead of a smooth, almost continuous layer, the fat pads appear as separate structures.

Tools for a Gradual Facelift (varies with each individual person):

Kybella and/or CoolSculpting for fat removal

Voluma for recreating structure when bone and fat is lost

Facial fillers for fat volume loss, and lip volume lost

Sculptra for skin tightening and volume

PDO Threads for skin tightening and subtle lifting

Vampire Facelift using your own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) to rejuvenate your skin

Various Lasers to remove red or brown color and tighten skin, reduce pores

Radio Frequency for skin tightening

Botox to relax the muscles and ease (or prevent) the etching of lines

Each of the above are ways to keep your skin healthy and lifted over the years to come. We look forward to embarking on this beautiful journey with you!
